DELT – DIPLOMA IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

PROGRAM DETAILS

SEMESTER I:

Course Title

  • Introduction to the Study of English Language
  • Structure of English Language
  • Instructional Methodologies of English Language

SEMESTER II:

Course Title

  • A study in English grammar
  • Teaching English at Primary and Secondary Level
  • Teaching and Learning of English through Constructivism
  • XII Standard pass-out with minimum 50% marks in English.
  • Diploma holder / Bachelor’s Degree Holder / Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University (with English as a subject, passed with 50% or completed Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Graduation in English medium).
  • International / SAARC Graduate from a recognised / accredited University /Institution.

Application Form Fees (Non-refundable):

  • For Indian Residents (General / Defence Personnel / Paramilitary / Police): Rs. 1000/-
  • International : USD 100 OR Rs. 7,100/-
  • SAARC : USD 100 OR Rs. 7,100/-

Program Fees: Students have two options of paying the fees as mentioned below:
A] Option 1 – One Time Payment:- Student has to pay the full course fees in one time payment, within 30 days from the date of admission

  • General: Rs. 14,000/-
  • Active Defence / Paramilitary / Police: Rs. 14,000/-
  • International : USD 400 or Rs. 28,400/-
  • SAARC : USD 350 or Rs. 24,850/-

B] Option 2 - Two-Installments: Student has to pay the course fees in two installments as follows:

Category 1st Installment - Pay within 15 days
from the date of admission		 2nd Installment - Pay within 30 days from the
date of payment of 1st Installment
General Rs. 10,000/- Rs. 6,000/-
Active Defence/ Paramilitary / Police Rs. 10,000/- Rs. 6,000/-
International USD 300 or Rs. 21,300/- USD 200 or Rs. 14,200/-
SAARC USD 300 or Rs. 21,300/- USD 100 or Rs. 7,100/-

Note:

  • Participants are required to pay additional exam fees per exam per attempt.

Fee Payment Mode: Fees can be paid Online or by Demand Draft.

  • Payment via Online: this can be done through payment gateway.
  • Payment via DD: this can be submitted at SCDL Pune campus. The Demand Draft needs to be in favor of "The Director, SCDL, Pune" payable at Pune only.
