The Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Administration (PGDEA) is a diploma program which focuses on skills in human relationship, problem-solving, community relationship and community cooperation. Other topics covered include information technology and its application in educational administration, evaluation methodology and research. The PGDEA program also focuses on the Legal Aspects of Educational Administration and Guidance and Counselling. At the end of the program, the candidates are supposed to complete a “Project”. Project-based learning is a dynamic approach to teaching in which candidates explore real-world problems and challenges. With this type of active and engaged learning, candidates shall be inspired to obtain a deeper knowledge of the courses they are studying.

  • Bachelor degree holder /Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • International/SAARC Graduate from a recognised/accredited University/Institution.
  • Students who have appeared for the final year of examination of their bachelor's degree program and are awaiting results can also apply, subject to completing their bachelor's degree program/graduation within the period specified by SCDL.

  • For Indian Residents (General / Defence Personnel / Paramilitary / Police): Rs. 1000/-
  • International / SAARC: USD 100 OR Rs. 7,100/-

Program Fees: Students have two options of paying the fees as mentioned below:
A] Option 1 – One Time Payment:- Student has to pay the full course fees in a one-time payment, within 15 days from the date of admission

  • General: Rs. 46,000/-
  • Active Defence / Paramilitary / Police: Rs. 43,000/-
  • International : USD 2,400 or Rs. 1,70,400/-
  • SAARC : USD 1,300 or Rs. 92,300/-

B] Option 2 - Two-Installments: Student has to pay the course fees in two installments as follows:

  • Participants are required to pay exam fees per exam per attempt separately. Exam Fee is not a part of Program Fee.

  • Payment via DD: this can be submitted at SCDL Pune campus. The Demand Draft needs to be in favor of "The Director, SCDL, Pune" payable at Pune only.
